A credit on the car itself
The cars you finish are the portfolio, and they turn up at shows without you. Hand a regular a panel for the weekend and your shop name sits in the glass, next to the paint it is talking about.
A booking QR in the window
One slot carries a scannable code to your booking page, WhatsApp or Instagram. It is about 21 mm wide, so it is made to be scanned standing at the glass. Keep the link short and the code stays simple.
A counter display the rest of the week
Behind the register it shows your handle, your opening hours or this month's package. Changing it is a minute on your phone rather than a reprint and a trip to the printer.
Set to look like your signage
Seven typefaces, six border styles and your own text, icon and border colours on each slot. There is no logo upload, so the shop name goes on as text — pick the typeface that matches your vinyl.
It does not lean on shop Wi-Fi
Once saved, the rotating slots run from the panel. A dropped router does not blank the counter sign, and a customer's car does not need signal at the show.
One-off, not a signage plan
Under $99 a panel, no per-screen licence and no monthly fee to keep one running. Your settings live in your Apex account and are cached on the panel so it keeps showing them.

01Pair it at the counter
The Apex app hands the panel your shop Wi-Fi over Bluetooth, then pairs it to your Apex account. After that you can edit over Bluetooth even with no reception.
02Point the QR at your booking link
A short booking URL scans fastest. If you want to know who came from it, use a UTM-tagged or shortened link you control — the panel shows the code, it does not count scans.
03Send one out with a show car
Clip it inside a customer's glass for the weekend with your credit and your QR. Internal battery for the day, USB-C or a power bank if it is a long one.

How do I market a detailing business at car shows?
The cars you have finished are already there. A panel in a customer's glass reading Detailed by plus a booking QR puts your name next to the work, which a flyer under a wiper does not do.
What should a detailing shop put on its counter display?
Shop handle, the services you most want to sell and a QR to booking. That is three slots of up to 96 characters each, rotating every few seconds.
Can a customer's car advertise my shop at meets?
Yes, if they are happy to run the panel. It clips into a case on the inside of the glass and holds your wording until someone changes it. Apex is for parked and show use only, not for use while driving.
Is there a monthly fee?
No monthly fee to keep a panel running, and no per-screen licence. A panel is a one-off under $99 and the Apex app is free.
Does it keep working if the shop Wi-Fi drops?
In Showcase mode, yes. The three slots are stored on the panel and keep cycling on their own. Docked mode, the clock and weather layout, needs Wi-Fi and shows a needs Wi-Fi screen without it.
Can I track how many people scan the code?
Not from the panel. It displays the code and does not count scans. Point it at a UTM-tagged link or a short link you control and read the numbers in your own analytics.
Can I put my shop logo or a before-and-after photo on it?
No. A slot holds text, one of ten built-in icons and a QR code. Animated backgrounds come from a catalogue Apex curates, and some of those are marked Premium, so there is no upload of your own image.
Can I set up a row of panels at once?
Each panel is paired and edited on its own from the app or the web panel. There is no bulk or fleet tool, so allow a couple of minutes per panel when you are kitting out several.
