One name, ten cars
Ten panels in a row reading the same crew name does what a set of matching banners does. Each member types the club slot into their own panel, so agree the exact wording in the group chat first — there is no club-wide push that updates everyone at once.
A QR that recruits for you
Point the third slot at your Discord invite, club page or Instagram. Someone walking the line scans it at the glass and lands where you want them. Short links make a simpler code, so use one.
Meet a Panel works with no signal
Hold two panels together, both owners confirm the same 4-digit code in their own app, and the accounts become friends once the panels are next online. The handshake itself needs no Wi-Fi at all.
The club's runs in one calendar
Apex Calendar carries car meets, cruises, track days and shows with RSVPs and a nearby radius. Posting a public event needs Organiser access, which Apex grants on request rather than through a signup form.
It holds up in a bad car park
Once the three slots are saved, Showcase mode cycles them from the panel itself. An underground level or a paddock with one bar does not take the club slot down.
Under $99 a car, no monthly fee
Members buy their own panel and it is theirs. There is no per-screen licence and no monthly fee to keep one running.
How a club sets it up
Agree it once, then everyone loads it.
01Write the club slot
Crew name, city, founded year — decide the exact line and post it in the group chat. Ninety-six characters is the limit per slot, which is about one readable line.
02Every member loads their three slots
Club line, own handle, club QR. Set from the Apex app over Bluetooth once the panel is paired, or from the web panel in any browser.
03Park up and leave it
Clip-on case on the inside of the glass, reusable adhesive, nothing drilled. The slots rotate on their own at whatever interval you set between 3 and 60 seconds.

This is the caption people read; the link itself is a separate field. The code is about 21 mm wide, so it is scanned at the glass rather than from across the car park.
Questions
Club questions, answered.
How do car club members spot each other at meets?
Traditionally jackets, drag plates and windscreen banners. A panel does the same job with the club name in one slot, except the wording changes between meets instead of being reprinted.
Can every member show the same club design?
Everyone can show the same wording, but each member sets it on their own panel from their own app or the web panel. There is no club-wide push that updates every member's panel at once.
What should you put on a digital club banner?
Club name, city and the member's own handle cover most of it, with a QR to the club page in the third slot. Each slot holds up to 96 characters of plain text, so keep it to a line someone reads walking past.
How do we recruit new members at a meet?
Point the QR slot at your Discord invite or club page so anyone can scan it at the glass. If the other person has a panel too, Meet a Panel adds them as a friend by holding the two panels together, which needs no signal at the meet itself.
Can we post the club's meets and cruises?
Apex Calendar covers car meets, car shows, cruises and track days with RSVPs and a nearby radius. Posting a public event needs Organiser access, which Apex grants on request, and you need a paired panel to use the calendar at all.
Can I message the rest of the club from my panel?
Messaging friends happens in the web panel at apexpanels.io, not in the app, and it is one to one: a message to a friend can land in their panel's notification feed. A message to a group does not reach a Mini.
Is there a monthly fee per member?
No monthly fee to keep a panel running. A panel is a one-off under $99 and the Apex app is free.
Does it work at a meet with no signal?
Showcase mode does. Once the slots are saved they cycle from the panel with no Wi-Fi at all. Docked mode, the clock and weather layout, needs Wi-Fi and shows a needs Wi-Fi screen without it.
